Tebex Store Setup Guide
Set up your Tebex store from zero to first product listed. This guide covers everything: account, branding, categories, payments, and your first listing.
Prerequisites
- โA Tebex account (sign up at tebex.io)
- โA PayPal or bank account for payouts
- โA product idea (script, resource, or service)
- โ3-5 screenshots or a demo video of your product
1.Account & Store Setup
- Go to tebex.io and create a free account
- Select 'Game Server' as your store type
- Choose FiveM as your platform
- Set your store URL carefully (e.g., yourname.tebex.io) โ hard to change later
- Enable 2FA immediately (required before you can receive payouts)
- Add your payout method: PayPal for fast payouts, bank transfer for lower fees
Choose a professional store URL. 'coolscripts.tebex.io' is better than 'xXgamer2005Xx.tebex.io'. This URL goes on every receipt and listing.
2.Store Branding
- Upload a logo (minimum 200x200px, transparent PNG works best)
- Set your store name to something professional and memorable
- Write a store description with keywords: FiveM, scripts, QBCore, ESX, server
- Configure currency (USD recommended for global audience)
- Set your timezone for analytics
- Add a custom domain if you have one (builds trust)
3.Categories
Organize your products into categories so buyers can find what they need. Even if you only have one product, set up categories for future growth.
- Scripts โ standalone resources and systems
- Vehicles โ custom vehicle models and packs
- Maps โ MLO interiors and custom locations
- Bundles โ grouped products at a discount
- Services โ custom development, setup, consulting
4.Payment Configuration
- Enable PayPal checkout (widest compatibility, buyers trust it)
- Enable Stripe checkout (credit/debit cards)
- Enable crypto payments if relevant for your audience
- Configure tax settings based on your country
- Set refund policy (recommended: 7-day refund, builds buyer trust)
7-day refund policy dramatically increases conversion. Most buyers never refund โ but knowing they CAN makes them more likely to buy.
5.Your First Product Listing
- Click 'Create Package' in Tebex dashboard
- Title: clear and searchable (e.g., 'Advanced Police MDT | QBCore | ESX')
- Description: what problem it solves, full feature list, framework compatibility
- Price: research competitors first (see Script Pricing Guide)
- Add 3-5 high-quality screenshots showing the product in action
- Add a preview video if possible (30-60 seconds, shows key features)
- Category: assign to the correct category
- Delivery: set to 'Instant' for digital downloads
Your product description is your sales page. Spend 30 minutes writing it well. Include: what it does, screenshots, requirements, installation steps, and support information.
Expected Result
Your product is live on your Tebex store, visible to buyers, with professional images and a clear description.
6.Post-Setup Checklist
- Test the full purchase flow yourself (Tebex has test mode)
- Verify download delivery works
- Set up a Discord server or channel for customer support
- Add a 'Join our Discord' link on your store page
- Create a welcome message for new customers
- Set up Tebex Discord webhooks for sale notifications
