Discord community ops kit

Your Discord is where the community actually lives. A messy one bleeds players. This kit is the starting layout that scales: clear channels, a few role tiers, a ticket flow so support is not chaos, and an escalation path so staff know who handles what. Set it up once, then grow it.

You'll build
A starter Discord structure for a FiveM server: channels, rules, role tiers, a ticket flow, staff escalation, and announcements.
Time
~30 minutes.
You need
A Discord server you own and admin rights on it.
You'll learn
Channel layout -> role tiers -> a ticket flow -> staff escalation -> an announcement rhythm
BEFORE YOU START

The starter structure

Create these channels first. Read-only means only staff can post. The rest are open.

Channels to create
welcome / rules
Read-only. Server rules, how to connect, and the role each tier unlocks.
announcements
Read-only. Launches, updates, maintenance, and events. One source of truth.
support / tickets
Where players open a ticket. Not a free chat. A flow with a clear next step.
general / off-topic
Community chat. Kept separate from support so tickets do not get buried.
staff-only
Private. Escalation, incident notes, and staff coordination.
logs
Private. Server logs delivered by webhook. The webhook URL is a password.
